Congenital heart disease
These are defects of the heart you were born and influence how blood flows through your mind. They occur when walls, valves, or blood vessels do not develop the right way before you are born. Some problems like holes in the heart chamber can be easily corrected and no treatment is required. Things like missing valves may require long-term care.
