Cardiomyopathy

This is a group of diseases that makes your heart muscle thicker, harder, or bigger than usual. Over time, your heart will weaken, it will be hard to send out blood and keep that regular rhythm. The most common type is called dilated cardiomyopathy and occurs in the left ventricle. As it gets worse, the ventricles can not move very well and blood gathers in the heart.
